If weight loss and improved general fitness is your goal then you have found the right sport!

Cycling is a safe and effective way to burn excess calories while also having fun with friends. The key to weight loss, if you are new to cycling, is to ride at a steady pace.

There is no need for hard sprint intervals or intense hill climbs. Instead, if you ride easy and watch what you eat you’re heading in the right direction. The Bikevo Virtual Coach will guide you through this journey without any unnecessary stress or fatigue.

Of course, you do not have to be a Novice rider to have fitness and weight loss as your aim. But if you are new to cycling then this is a great first goal that will lay a foundation of strength and endurance for the next step.

I want to improve my strength and endurance

Perhaps you have been a seasonal cyclist for many years, riding mainly in the summer months. But this year you have set a goal to improve your strength and endurance.

The first step on this specific fitness journey is to find out your rider type.

To do that we recommend you complete the Bikevo Critical Power Test. The Bikevo Critical Power Test will take around 50 minutes to complete, including warm-up and recovery. The result? A clear picture of your unique physiological signature.

Then simply tell us how much time you have to train each week and we will do the rest.

Your training program will be primarily focused on achieving your goals of improved strength and endurance. However, the Bikevo Critical Power Test might find that you have some other skills? Perhaps you also have the qualities of a sprinter or climber? Every cyclist is different and has its own unique physiological signature.
